Grove of Remembrance Event

On July 31st, Historic Oakwood Cemetery will be hosting an event to bring people together to celebrate the lives and memories of their departed loved ones.
Guests are invited to participate in the Grove of Remembrance, a place where families and individuals can inscribe a ribbon with the name and memories of their loved one and tie it to the limbs of our crepe myrtle grove in the front lawn.
We believe that the ribbons create a beautiful spectacle while also sharing the community spirit cultivated here at Oakwood Cemetery.
The event will be held from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, accompanied by music performed by Anita Burroughs-Price.
This event is free and open to the public.
