Oakwood Cemetery history at The North Regional Library

Join The North Regional Library of Raleigh at 7009 Harps Mill Rd, Raleigh, for an educational program about the history
of Oakwood Cemetery and some of its famous (and
infamous) residents! You’ll find out that the cemetery
doesn’t come alive with ghosts but with the stories and
history of the people who called our community home.
Robin Simonton, the executive director of Oakwood,
will share some of her favorite stories while you gain an
inside look at what a day in the life of a historic
cemetery is like!
