What goes on in the cemetery after dark?
There are few opportunities to be in the cemetery after our gates have closed. We will take full advantage of the season, attendees will see our bio luminescent lichens, learn about cemetery symbolism, and hear about cemetery residents that still make an occasional appearance around the capital. Reservations are required for our Last Tours of the Season; donations of $10 per person are encouraged for evening tours.
Tours meet at the front gate at 6pm, our tour leaves at 6:30.
What to bring:
– Water
– Weather appropriate clothing
– Questions about local history, the cemetery, and the death industry.
