They Speak for the Trees: Biologists, Arborists and Horticulturalists of Oakwood

Celebrate Arbor Day at the Arboretum at Historic Oakwood Cemetery, learn about our grounds, see our centenarian oaks, and hear about Oakwood Cemetery residents dedicated to studying the natural world.

From the creation of the North Carolina Museum of Science, to NC State. This tour includes cemetery founders as well as recent additions, and explores the impact each scientist had on their field, the state of North Carolina and the cemetery itself.
